We cannot link our custom-made catalog to the publication POS, it throws an error with the message “Publication has already been taken”!
So we queried the publications and found out that the POS and the Online Store are not linked to the same catalog, so in theory we can change the catalogs PriceList to our own custom-made.
This was not possible because the POS is linked to a catalog of type APP and when we try to mutate it, it throws an error with the message “Cannot modify a catalog for an app.”
We would love if you could explain to us in detail why is the modification of the catalogs with type APP restricted?
If we have missed out on something or if we are going in the wrong direction, please help us and clarify to us how the structure for prices is built.
