Hide variant images

Hello everyone,

I've seen several posts on this topic but none have been completely comprehensive to help me.

I would like to hide the variant images in the product gallery and only display them when the customer clicks on the corresponding option/variant.

I only have one image which is always the same except that the colour changes depending on the variant chosen.

Can you please help me solve this problem? (I am using Sense theme)
