Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
I went through a lengthy support call in which a solution was not presented. I was able to sort through the issue:
- enable bluetooth on your ipad
- in the POS app go to settings -> checkout, payment types -> default payment types, then toggle on credit/debit Shopify payments
- in your iPad preferences search for "location", then turn on location services (needed for the Wisepad)
- you should now be able to go to the Shopify POS, then to settings -> hardware, set up hardware -> card reader
The Wisepad 3 should now show in the list. Hope this helps.
