Add to cart button not showing on some computers and phones

Hi,

We run frockaholics.com and have our retail store 'Momento Dezigns' in one system on Shopify

Our website frockaholics.com has started not showing the add to cart button on some products.

We tried on both iphones for example https://www.frockaholics.com/collections/mossman/products/the-duchess-pant-in-check

It did not show the add to cart button once you click on the product (on the product page).

We also tried on 3 different computers - 1 showed the button - the other 2 computers did not.

I tried opening the same product on the computer it where it showed the button (when using google chrome) but the button did not show when opened in the firefox browser.

There seems to be no pattern.

Are you able to help us work this out please? We are losing sales!

Hey, there!

Dallas here from Shopify's Social Care Team.

I have just the solution for you for what you're looking for. If you're wanting customers to only be able to get to the checkout if they have a customer account then you're going to want to create a lock on your website.

Although that isn't something that comes natively to the Shopify platform I did some digging in our app store and I found one that I think should do the trick for you. It's called EasyLockdown.

I also found a really great forum thread from a Shopify user looking for this same thing. One of our employees found an option for them that you might be able to use depending on your Shopify theme and if it has this setting built in. If you go to your online store customizer under "Checkout" you might find a setting for Manual Login.

It does require a bit of coding so if you're not comfortable with that then I suggest you reach out ... who certainly would be able to add this in for you. In addition, if your theme doesn't have this feature automatically built in then you might even be able to reach out to the Experts to get them to custom build this for you if the other options don't work or aren't interesting to you.

After you look at those options please let me know if you have any further questions. I am more than happy to see what else I can help you out with when it comes to this.

Sorry Dallas, we aren't after a lock for customers or anything like that

My sincerest apology! I ended up sharing the wrong forum reply here. Here is what I was actually meaning to say:

I have taken a look at your website and I do see what you're referring to. I may need to reach out to our tech team, but before I'm able to do that I need to ask if you have made any adjustments to your store code. More specifically to your product page?

If you did you would have made them by going to Online Store > Themes > Action > Edit Code in your Store Admin. From there you'd need to click on Older Versions at the top of the page. If you click back to previous edits what you have will not be lost, but will be removed until you move back to the current edit if that makes sense.

Please try that and let me know if that doesn't solve the issue.
