Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hi all,
I'm hoping I'm just missing something incredibly simple or that you guys can help with suggestions. We have a quickly growing shop but we sell about 200-500 vintage/unique items per week that require separate photos/skus for each product. Some of the products are very similar (same item, different conditon) so it causes some confusion at the time of pulling orders and occasionally we pull the wrong condition and end up with a mistake to work out which takes a lot of time to correct.
We are trying to get to using SKU's and labels on all of our products to make order pulling easier and more accurate. I currently have a cataloger that takes the images from my bulk product photo shoot and adds all of the items (about 100 per day) as draft items for me to review later prior to the end of week product release.
Is there a way I can have my cataloger print product labels/barcodes out of our label printer so he can bag/label each one as he enters them? Currently we just write a sku on a sticky and put it inside the sleeve of the product but it would be nice to have uniform printed labels that could be more easily displayed and also used for in person sales at some point.
Why doesn't shopify have a print label functionality from the product edit page...? Am I missing something? I'm hoping some of you who are doing POS might be more experienced with labeling and might have suggestions!
Hi, what are you using that automatically adds your products? Im adding 100s of products every week 1 by 1.
We add them 1 by 1 also. It sucks
