adding Gasoline to shopify

I've been tasked with figuring out if we can add fuel tracking to our shopify POS system. Is there a way to do this with Shopify POS or with an app extension?

Thank you so much, would you be able to explain how to create those custom fields? I'm currently looking at the apps you suggested also but would like to try the custom fields as well.
