Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hi there!
I divided the inventory in two parts: physical shop (POS) and Webshop (Online Store).
The problem stumbling upon: when I add stock to my physical store (POS) inventory while my product is available online, it gives the possibility to purchase these items determined for the physical shop online, which it shouldn't. How can I define that only the inventory addressed to the Webshop (Online Store) can be purchased online? (as it may be the case that I have items in both inventories, as some items in the physical store might be a little bit damaged / not brand new).
Anyone who encountered this earlier? As I couldn't find anything similar in the Discussion.
Any help / tips would be appreciated!
Gunnar
we got around that problem by creating a separate item for the physical store inventory, but maybe there's a way of using locations to separate the inventories?
