Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hi, can anyone help with this please?
Previously if a barcode was not present on Shopify the error message would read "Item not recognised" and the item would need to be manually inserted.
Following the latest software upgrade if the same thing happens the system beeps as if the barcode was read but displays no message to alert the cashier. If this is not noticed the item will not be included in the sales and the customer gets a free item.
I have tried to re-install the barcode scanner but Shopify does not recognise.
Any ideas, help or suggestions would be appreciated.

We have the same bug, we must have an alert of some kind to know that the product wasn't found/recognised, it's too easy for an item to be missed without it!
