Over the past 7 days, our barcode scanner has stopped scanning.
It is connected to Bluetooth to our iPad, beeps when scanning a barcode but the item does not appear in the cart.
I have disconnected and reconnected to Bluetooth - does the same thing.
I have closed the Shopify POS app and re-launched - does the same thing.
The only solution that works is exiting the POS app, shutting down the iPad, restarting the iPad, opening the app and then the scanned items appear in the cart.
The problem is, we have to repeat this process several times during the work day and we are a busy store.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Apps and iPad (12th Gen) are all up to date.

We have the same issue, however we have a Samsung galaxy tablet A8 with Android 13.
Barcode scanner socket s740 2D scanner shows as connected and beeps when I scan an item but nothing happens.
What we need to do is completely close the app by showing all programs and then hard closing the pos app and then reopen it and then it will connect and work.
