Barcoding to reduce pick and packing errors

Hi all! 


Our company is looking to reduce pick and packing errors and double handling of orders by barcoding and scanning items sent to customers. We have a scanner and label maker which is communicating to our computers. We are looking for ways to 1) scan an order sheets and be able to scan items in to a package. If the item scanned in is incorrect it can warn us. When the order is fulfilled it becomes complete and communicates with our inventory counts. If we want to see orders sent we can go back through our system.


Is there a way of doing this? Any help would be much appreciated

Hi Angela,

This maybe a bit late, but we have just developed this exact system to another client who had the same issue. It is not on the app store yet, though soon to come (under review).  

We have managed to reduce their packing mistakes from 6-14 per week to 0. It's been an amazing experience.

It is not in the app store yet, we are in the process of getting it validated. It is however been running on two businesses currently with very positive responses.
