Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hey community. Silly question, but is it possible to advertise a product on Shopify, but not have a price. As in have "Contact ... For Sales". Im finding my online shop is being used as a bargaining tool for other retail outlets (who dont advertise their price). They then simply beat my advertised price...
Would appreciate the help,
Cheers - Gerard

Hey @bargain-floors
That's not a silly question at all, don't worry! I can definitely see the sense in implementing something like this, especially since you said some people are using your displayed prices as a way to bargain with other outlets.
As @MarinaPetrovic mentioned you could certainly hire a developer to implement a custom solution for this. Feel free to check out our Shopify Experts website, where you can search for suitable freelance developers, who are trusted and vetted. You can work with them to decide exactly how it would work on the store, and how much it would cost to implement.
However, there are some apps that could offer that extra functionality. I had a look on the Shopify App Store and found a couple that look suitable! As with all third party apps, pay close attention to any charges before installing them, and direct any questions you might have beforehand to the app developers. You can contact them directly by clicking the Support tab on the app page. Here's a few apps that look promising:

Hi @bargain-floors , there are some apps that can help you with this - but there is also a custom solution 🙂
You should hide your add to cart button, and replace it with 'Contact for sale' button, when a customer clicks on that button, there are multiple options:
1) Immediately call you number
2) Email you
3) Or, if you'd like to go step forward - popup form with message that will be sent to your email.
It depends on how you'd like this to work.
