Can I deactivate and reactivate payments to connect Citibank with Plaid?

Originally when I set up my pos I did not have a username and ID for Citibank so I just chose the manual activation to connect Shopify payments to Citibank.  It takes 8 days for money to get to bank. I have tried to manage bank account and add the new username and ID to connect with plaid but I get an error 

 

if I want to deactivate payments to clear out the memory and reactivate to accept payments thru plaid, will that work?  Do you recommend this?  Does plaid actually work with Citibank?  Citibank told me it didn’t yet they are listed on plaid app

pleaae tell me if it’s ok to try to deactivate and then reactivate payments
