Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
I am still considering making the switch over to Shopify POS & website…it is just a big undertaking so I want to make sure it is the right move. The biggest drawback for me right now is that we are an embroidery boutique so we personalize many of the products that we sell both online and in store. By the way I am convinced that Shopify is the better option for the website, I just prefer to keep both POS and e-com together for convenience, so if I switch I’d like to switch both. So the biggest obstacle is not being able to include personalization details on each item that is being personalized for an in-person purchase. I understand that I can add a note to the overall order and include extra details, but it becomes more complicated when we have big orders, multiple items being personalized, different colors/sizes I can foresee this being confusing. I am able to do this now & it is the only benefit I see in keeping with our current POS but it is a big one. Is there any way around this or ability to include details per line item? A custom sale would not work because it would not take the proper item out of inventory. Thanks so much, really hoping that we can find a solution to this so that I can make the switch over to Shopify.
