Can POS support local pickups at checkout?

Is there anyway for Shopify POS to support local pick ups at checkout. I know that there is the option to add shipping to a POS order but is there the capability to add local pick up to the POS order so the customer could check out with us in-store? Our goal would be to notify the customer when the rest of their ord when they could be able to come back in store and pick up the rest of their order! Thanks in advance!

Yes, agree. And to piggyback, a way for us admins to select Pickup for
orders created by us in the admin section. Even for a draft order for which
there was no ship to address, it doesn't show Pickup as an option.
