Can't select local pick up when using Apple Pay: what's your solution?

We are having a problem with apple pay. When customers use apple pay, they cannot select 'local pick up' They then have to go back, go to check out and manually upload their card details.  This is losing me sales, what has everyone else done? Should I turn off Apple Pay? its so clunky.
