Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hi! I own a gift shop in the front of my daughters nail salon. We both use shopify and have our own accounts. Is it possible to somehow "connect" them at the POS so customers only have to check out once?
Hey, @cuonealbrenner.
Thanks for reaching out and posting this question.
It's. not possible to connect two separate accounts onto a single POS, and this wouldn't be something that we'd advise doing as having two separate stores connected on the same POS would cause logistical issues and complicate payouts. That being said, as the credit card statements can only display one store or one line, this can also be confusing for customers - which may lead to potentially increased chargebacks.
Since the two stores are selling different product niches and have different account owners, then it does make sense for customers to checkout separately. However, can you tell us more about why you'd want for customers to checkout once in this scenario?
