Can we display compare at price on printed barcode labels?

Hi folks,

We have a bricks & mortar store as well as online. Is it possible to display the compare at price on the printed price/barcode labels for our products?

We currently just print via the Retail Barcode Labels app on a Dymo 450 printer. I've searched as best I can in the knowledge base and on Google but no luck so far.

Hey, @dawsclothing 

Adding the compare-at price is not currently possible on Retail Barcode Labels. With that said, I'd happy to pass this along to our developers as feedback. This way it can be looked into as a potential future feature implementation.

In the meantime, it would be worthwhile looking into some third-party label printing apps that may offer this sort of functionality.

Hi Dirk, I too have an online store and a bricks and mortar store and like most in this situation I sometimes require a different price in store than I do online. When will this be possible? If not can I print compare at price and price on my bar code labels. I'm amazed that this doesn't appear to do either? Please help. Many thanks, Garth.

How is this update going?  We have been on Shopify for over 12 years, and I raised this issue probably 5 years ago with no resolution still.  

Having to go into a product, bulk edit, delete the compare at price, input the full price, save, print label, so I can then manually write on the marked down price in red pen, then go back into the product and change back the price and compared at price fields to match what we are selling at in sale mode.  Just ludicrous that this cannot be a development of the highest relevance.  Surely the easy way is for the barcode label app to have a 'compare at field as well as price field in the template, instead of just variant 1, 2, 3 etc.

They're never updating that like just like everything else everyone asks for. They monetize anything useful and necessary through 3rd party apps. Woo!

@Shopify How can you not offer a simple check box option to print both "Regular Price" and "Compare At Price" by now. The server can pull any data it wants onto the barcode label. This is asinine that you are not listening to your customers.

And no, it should not be available through a 3rd party app. This should be of the most basic basic basic functions of the platform!

We currently use the Yanet app - works great, we've got numerous templates set up for different products. Takes a minute to get your head around the layouts, but works a treat.

Do you need to pay for this though? Shouldn;t have to be a 3rd party app. It's getting ridiculous, biggest downfall of Shopify.

But also means more $$$ in their pockets at the end of the day.
