Can you transfer an order to another customer?

When putting a point of sale through, the wrong customer name was selected on the pos system and the sale was completed under another persons name. Is there a way to export or transfer the sale to the correct customer so as to keep track of purchases?


Also is there a way yet to merge 2 of the same customers into one account?

I understand that you have an order on Shopify POS that was completed with the wrong customer profile attached. I was able to remove a customer profile from an order processed through a draft order and select a different customer afterwards. However, while I'm not sure if this can be done for all order types, you can try removing the incorrect customer profile and add a different customer using the Shopify admin.




That being said, you can also merge customer accounts. However, there are some limitations and I'd recommend reviewing them here: Merging customer profiles. If a customer has more than two profiles, then you will need to merge each profile separately.
