Hi there, some of our products have different barcodes for the same item. This could be different manufacturing dates or whichever. Is there a way use multiple barcodes for Shopify POS?

How would you use other barcode data?
So for example, if you did have a product with a manufacturing date on it somewhere how would that be used with the POS? Maybe there's an interesting business or customer process need so keen to hear more.
did you ever receive confirmation on this? we just received charms for a charm bracelet and I don't want to have to put all 75 charms in inventory but they all have different sku on their little tags so was thinking i would add just the skus to the product charm..
Did you ever get an answer on this? According to documentation you should be able to enter multiple barcodes for a single item (separated by a comma) but when we do that the item won't scan at the POS (Previous inventory and POS systems allowed this)
Any news on this functionality ? 🙂
