Change Refund Method

We offer refunds for merchandise credit, how can I change the refund method in the pos? Also for any online orders that we take? It is automatically refunding to the original form of payment. 

Any suggestions would be helpful!

sadly you can't. 

all you can do is issue a gift card. 

I believe online order returns go back to  original payment type.
