We have been using QB POS to run a small point-of-sale retail pro-shop at a country club and are now in the process of migrating to Shopify since it's discontinuation. With QB POS, our members are able to purchase merchandise in person, in the store, and for "payment method" we use "on account" - we apply the charge to their account in QB POS and bill them later. These transactions are synced down to QuickBooks Accounting, from which they are then billed once a month for all their accumulated charges. We don't take cash, credit cards, etc.
Will we be able to accomplish this same payment flow when using Shopify with the QuickBooks connector?
