Cost of goods, multiple cost for same good, cost tracking

I would like to know if there are any apps or methods I can track the cost of the item.

As the cost of each item will change due to different suppliers, logistics, batches, and quantity of order, Shopify only allows input 1 cost per item. I would like to know if I can enter the cost of each batch of inventory, and track the record. Maybe even I can use the average cost to define my price.
