Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
In Shopify POS, I can no longer checkout customers using my iPad Pro 12.9". After you click on Checkout and items are added to cart a screen loads saying "Couldn't load checkout - There was an issue with the cart."
STEPS
Open Shopify POS
Enter PIN
Add one or more items to the cart
Tap Checkout
EXPECTED RESULT
The checkout screen should load and payment can be made
ACTUAL RESULT
A screen loads saying "Couldn't load checkout - There was an issue with the cart."
ADDITIONAL INFO
I updated to the latest Shopify POS.
I deleted and reinstalled the app.
I upgraded to the latest iOS.
iOS: 16.3.1 and earlier
App Version: 8.2.1 Build 1944
Device: iPad Pro 12.9"
If you have updated your device to iOS 14 or higher and use third-party Shopify apps, then you might need to enable Cross-Website tracking in your iOS settings. Cross-Website tracking lets third-party Shopify apps that you have installed in your Shopify admin stay connected in Shopify Inbox, Shopify Point of Sale, and the Shopify mobile app.
To enable Cross-Website tracking, complete the following steps:
I have just tried enabling "Allow Cross-Website Tracking" to fix the same error but with no joy. Any other suggestions?
We are experiencing the same problem and allowing Cross-Website Tracking did not solve it!
