Couple of problems with Alphabetical order and numbers, and "Next" item

Hi all,

I am opening a store selling rare british tokens next week. They are listed in alphabetical order but also numerically, (i.e. Middlesex 204). The problem I have is that the alphabetical order only recognizes the first number, so if it's Middlesex 204, only the 2 gets considered. This becomes a problem when I have items that are numbered 1104 getting put back with anything starting with a 1 and not one thousand. Any help with this?

Also, would be nice to just go to the next item while viewing an item in a collection, instead of going back to the collection and then to the next item. Can a "next item" button be added with each product page if there's a next item in the collection?
