Create a custom estimate or invoice in Shopify

Hello!  I print custom apparel and signs through my business. I’m trying to figure out a workflow that will allow me to generate custom quotes and invoices for custom printed products. Ideally, we could choose the item “custom apparel” from a list of products, then enter a short description of the product being sold, qty, and price, but I’m having a hard time figuring out a simple way to do this. The next level would be sending a proof for the customer to review and approve. Has anyone found an app or a workflow that would work for this situation? We would like to tie this into our over the counter POS workflow. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

You can use the Draft Orders feature in Shopify for custom quotes and invoices. For a more advanced workflow, apps like Invoicify, Draft Order Manager, or Custom Price Calculator can help. For proof approvals, Order Proofing or Uploadery (for file uploads) might work. Since you use Shopify POS, you may need a custom integration using Mechanic or Zapier to streamline quotes and approvals within your workflow. Let me know if you need help setting this up!

Not entirely sure if this is what you're after, but with Draft Order Edit, you can have custom pricing on ANY product (or variant) inside your draft order, and add quantity's etc. This means you can make ANY product cheaper or more expensive, depending on the unique order requirements.
