Customer Notes Pop Up for POS

Does anybody know of an app that enables a pop up screen (or something similar like a sidebar) show on the POS that shows internal customer notes? 

ie we like to put in spouse's name or other information such as favourite brands etc. into their notes and then when they make a purchase, we can remember that information and give the customer a more personal experience.
