Hi, I desperately need customer service to figure out if I need their POS system or not and if so, how soon I can get it to my location in Ontario, Canada. I want to attend an event to sell, but going through all their videos and descriptions on Point of Sale, I still don't know if I need a card reader or if my phone can become a card reader if it meets the specifications as set out in their criteria.
If a card reader is more reliable and especially if I need it, I want to know if I can get it within 5 business days, i.e. if I order Friday or Monday, can I get it Friday?

I can't confirm specific delivery times, though 5 business days might be cutting it too close — while orders may be shipped via our courier's Next Day Shipping service (1-2 business days), our team typically processes orders within 2-4 business days. So we won't be able to completely guarantee a 5 business day turnaround time for your order.
In regards to using your mobile device as a card reader, can you let me know which of our help guide or video you're referring to for this? The reason that I ask is because at this stage, our only option to easily accept payments via mobile is through the Tap to Pay on iPhone feature, which is currently only available for US-based merchants, as explained here.
So your option here, if you'd like to accept card payments in-person, is to use one of our card readers listed in our Canadian Hardware Store. You can, if preferred, also use our POS app to process in-person orders without a card reader — it's important to note though, that with this method, you'll need to manually input a customer's credit card details, in the absence of a card reader. This might not be the most ideal or smoothest way of processing transactions, though it's something to consider in case you're unable to source a card reader in time for your event. Otherwise, you can also opt for a cash-only rule for customers wanting to purchase from you during the event, as our POS app is able to process cash transactions too.
