Customising product

I have an online sweet shop and wanted to make customisable products so that customers can choose which candies to put in their mixes whilst staying on 1 product. I have hit a brick wall as Shopify only appears to let customers select values such as colour/ size but I see other Shopify users with the exact feature I want to create. Does anyone know how I could achieve this?  I have shared an example below.

Thanks so much for sharing this screenshot example. The multiple choice check boxes in the example look like what the product options apps offer.

Alternatively, if each of the options you're offering are also individual products on your store, you might be able to use one of the bundle apps, especially if you want to offer a discounted price for these mixes.
