Development idea: BArcode scanning when finding customer

Hi,

we have a customer loyalty program  where user email address can be found in QR code in our app.

It would be helpful if barcode could be scanned using iPhone/iPad's camera when finding existing customer. The barcode scanning would then just input the barcode data (eg. email address) to the field where the customer data would normally be searched.

There are a few apps that do this; https://apps.shopify.com/qr4pos is one (there is one with reviews but I couldn't find it right away)

Agreed would be nice if native.
