Discount Code for Specific Customers

I import a file of 10 customer details in my Shopify Store and created Discount Codes for these specific customers.

I don't know why the code is not working when they try to use it.

What specific customer information do I need for these codes to Apply?

It sounds like you’ve created a custom discount code for a number of specific customers, but they’re unable to apply the discount code to their orders? Do you know if these customers are receiving an error message when trying to apply the discount code? If so, please provide me with a screenshot of the error message so I can look further into what may be causing it. If there is no error message, could you please elaborate more on what you mean by the code not working?

Note: 

Customer eligibility for discounts is determined by email address.

Furthermore, if no customers have provided specific examples, here’s how you can test this out on your end:

1. Create a new customer account for yourself to test with
2. On the discount code in question, add your test customer account as an eligible customer
3. Save the discount code
4. On your site, add products to the cart and proceed to the checkout. Add the discount code and use your test customer details in the customer information step. This should give you an idea of what your customers are experiencing and allow you to capture screenshots of any error messages that may be appearing.
