Do I Delete POS?

What happens if I uninstall the POS from the store? Does it have any effect on the online store after deleting it?

Thank you for sharing your question with our network. Whether or not uninstalling the POS sales channel from your store will have an impact depends upon if you are using the sales channel. The risks associated with uninstalling the channel include the following disclaimer. 

Disclaimer: 

Before deleting the Point of Sale, make sure you’ve done the following:

• Fulfilled all POS orders
• Processed all returns or refunds
• Removed the Shopify POS app from all devices

Deleting the Point of Sale channel will mean you won’t be able to publish products, fulfill orders or measure performance.

On the flipside even if you are not using the app then you can leave it installed in your store. This is a pre-installed sales channel and does not impact your subscription costs if it is not set-up.
