Easier way to do line item custom discounts?

Is there an app that would allow you do discount directly on the line item? For example we used to use shopkeep and they had this option. 
Now if we have individual product discounts we have to click the item, apply custom discount, enter discount, save. It’s a lot of steps. 
Is there anything easier?

Can you please provide more details about what you're trying to achieve?

Why do you need to apply custom discounts? Is it because every customer is getting different discounts?

Or are you just looking for a way to set up storewide discounts on certain products, etc.? Basically, I'm trying to understand why Shopify's built-in discounts wouldn't suffice for your use case.

Basically I would like to be able to click an item and apply the discount right there like in the photo I posted of our old shopkeep. There's a lot of steps to do a custom discount especially when we have a bunch of stuff on sale.  
Also Shopify's built-in discounts can take awhile to set up with the different collections, etc. We have thousands of vendors, some are excluded from sale, so it gets difficult and very time consuming.

Hmm this looks to be POS specific based on the thread label. @Chelsea192289 

Shopify POS does have its fair share of limitations but I could see that there is a feature to do line level custom discounts.

Ideally, these could be automatically applied if configured once on the admin. Is there a reason to keep this as a manual process? 

Human errors are inevitable with manual discounts, but I do understand your point about it taking time to set up the discount logic.
