If your business is tax exempt and you'd like to place an order on the Shopify Hardware store, you will need to contact our retail support team and provide them with a copy of your tax exemption forms. You can contact them by email at hardware-store@shopify.com or you can reach out via the Help Center. When getting in touch, you'll need to provide the following information along with your forms:
Once our retail team can verify your tax exempt status, they will be able to set you up to place your order.

Thank you Greta. Allow me a follow-up question...every time we wish to purchase from the hardware store (for example to purchase additional gift cards) we need to go through the same process to contact the retail support team and provide the tax exempt information again or will our tax exempt information be linked to my email address or our account somehow?

Thanks for getting back to me. You actually won't have to go through that process each time! Once the retail team reviews your documents and confirms your tax-exempt status, they will attach that to your email. So any future purchases made with that email will be tax-exempt automatically!
