Experiencing Android POS 'Add Customer' issue, anyone else?

Prepping for a show so picked up new Android Pixel phone and Samsung Tab 8A tablet. Upgraded OS's and installed latest POS apps. Both phone and tablet have same issue which Shopify has confirmed and turned over to development.

Here is the issue (see attached video):

- Open POS.

- Select "Add Customer".

- Search Customer and select.

- Select "Go To Cart".

- Screen starts to flash with "Loading customer info" and just stays like that. Can not get past that. Have to cycle device power to make it stop. If you stop App and then restart... it is still flashing.

So..... the question is.... how long has this been going on? And who else is seeing this.... maybe on different systems? I only have till end of next week to get ready and really getting worried if a fix will be done soon enough.

We started having the exact same issue after we did the update to 7.0.0 yesterday!  So far we have found it on a few customers, but most customers load just fine.  Unfortunately even resetting the app doesn't always clear it, so we are having to completely delete the app and re-install it.  UGH!

I just sent the issue to support this morning.  Hopefully someone can figure this out.  My stores can't take the time to reinstall the app while a customer is waiting.  Did you find a solution?
