A year ago if you went into admin and opened stocky, it would open stocky in that browser window. Then sometime over the last year they changed it so that it instead opened in a new browser window. Then as of today it's back to opening in the same browser window. Please a) actually make notes in the changelog when you code changes - these things do affect the end user experience for things we use every day, b) bring back the open in a new window - it was one of the few positive changes this past year and we would enjoy that feature back.

I'm sorry to hear that these recent changes to Stocky have caused an annoyance for you. I reached out to one of our Teams and did some testing and confirmed that the application does appear to be taking over the tab it's opened in, and not opening up a new window or tab once clicked. A work-around for this would be to right-click on the Stocky launch button and selecting either the 'open with new tab' or 'open with new window' option, so you can still achieve this desired functionality.
Our team tested the app within our own stores and we concluded that this is intended app behaviour. I'm going to pass your feedback along here regarding the lack of mention in the changelog, and the desire for a new window launch to return, to our Stocky Devs. This way, they'll see the impact its having, and can look into the changelog, as well as making future revisions to the app.
