@Shopify Just wasted another hour of my time on something that should not have needed me to reach out to support with. My feature request - send out a PROACTIVE email to your stores that have POS installed when you do bug fixes and feature updates that require them to uninstall and reinstall. Every single other software system we use sends us notices of when we need to do a forced update. I encourage Shopify to consider also doing that. Saves your support staff tier 1 staff time, saves your devs that have to respond to them time, and it also saves us, the frustrated retailer, a lot of time while we sit waiting on the responses from the tier 1 staff. Really this is an easy mass email that can be done each time you do the updates. Makes your customer the retailer happy, and saves you staff hours. Thanks.
