Gift Card Product not displaying in only ONE of our POS ipads

As of today, one of our POS ipads has stopped allowing us to add a gift card to an order. 

When we select "add gift card" from the grid, OR from the "more options tab" -- a "no gift cards. When you add gift cards, youll see them here" display pops up. 

However we do have a gift card product set to active on our POS system, and furthermore it still appears on our other POS ipad. 

What could have caused it to disappear from only 1? As of yesterday we were selling gift cards from both with no issue.
