Having a basket of items

I own a Donut store and want to be able to provide a click and collect service. 

Is it possible with Shopify for them to select to purchase a 'Box of 6' or 'Box of 12' at a set price then fill it with 6 or 12 twelve items (they are all the same price)  then checkout the box of 6 or 12?

Welcome to the Shopify Community! To clarify, you are looking for customers to purchase your donuts in boxes of 6 or 12, but the customer gets to select which donuts are included in each box? 

If that's the case, you will likely require the use of an app from our Shopify App Store. To explain, you can set each flavor of donut as it's own product or variant, but you can't set product / variant limits (as in they must purchase 6 or 12)  through the natural Shopify admin. I'd be happy to recommend some app options for you to look into: 

• Infinite Options
• Product Infinite Options
  
• Combo Wise
• Bundler

Let me know how these go. If none of these work for you, let me know why and we can certainly keep looking! Another option is looking into hiring a Shopify Expert to set this up in your store for you through some custom coding.
