Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hello,
We're a pretty small shop, and we've used Lightspeed for ages, with Shopify for our Website. We have two stores, one in a historic building.
A huge part of our sales is delivery floral, so it works great for us that Shopify charges taxes based on delivery location.
However, we're supposed to collect a small percentage as a Historic Preservation Fee for our historic location- but I haven't found any way to override the taxes for sales just from that POS. Is there any sort of solution for this or are we out of luck?
For now we've been making a custom sale, but it's clunky and sometimes the salespeople will forget to add it or miscalculate, or forget to turn off the taxes etc etc.
