How can customers order online and collect in-store on my website?

Hi!

I am trying to set up a website for my shop and was wondering if that was possible for my customers to order online and collect in person? Also, is it possible for them to pay in store directly instead of an online checkout?

So my website would be exclusively to receive orders to be easier to treat them as until now, all orders had to be sent to me by e-mail or fax...

Really good question! 

Shopify has a local pickup feature which could what you're looking for here. There are two help guides for this which you can find below:

• Setting up pickup for online orders 

In terms of having customers pay in store directly instead of an online checkout, you would need to be on the Shopify Point of Sale (POS) plan. This would allow you to make sales directly with customers in person rather than online. You can see more about POS from the YouTube tutorial below:
