How can I add multiple EANs to a product in Shopify POS?

Hi, 

I have a question - how to add additional EANs to the product so they can scan on the Till? 

For example, I have a product that has multiple EANs against it, as the manufacturer was changing the EAN every season - on our old system we were just adding alternative barcodes to the main one, and it still was scanning correctly. 

How to handle that in SHopify? I can see only one field for EAN - should I add that as some sort of Metafield?
