How can I create a call-to-action button on my boutique's Shopify page?

I am a boutique salon, our shopify account is for our boutique clothing sales and I want to create a button on our shopify main page that our customers can click that takes them to another webpage that we use to sell our salon products online. The webpage it will send them to is through our salon products distributor, kind of like drop shipping, the distributor sends them the products not us. I am surprised this isn't a basic option for shopify, seems like it should be as simple as give the button a title, add your URL that you want it to link to, and boom. However even chatting with shopify support they can't tell me how to do this.... Someone got the answer? I am not experienced with custom HTML so you're going to have to dumb it down if its complex. Thanks in advance!
