Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
I'm looking for a solution as how to track merchandise that I pull from inventory for Marketing purposes. This happens one of two ways. I pull product for give aways (both IG & POS), media kits, etc. Or we sell to our licensor at cost for their own needs.
Problem I'm running into is if I manage the inventory shift by creating a sale, then discounting at 100% or another amount, it appears in analytics under sales. This throws our forecasting.
If I simply go into Admin-Inventory, then there isn't a history of where the product actually went. I need this for transparent book keeping and taxes.
