Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hello! I'm desperately looking for a solution to this after hours of work and multiple apps. I have variants for a rental company that offers 1 nights, 3 nights, and 5 nights. I have limited inventory I want to use over all variants. For example, 10 items that come from one pool. I've found some useful apps that pool these together however say if someone rents 10 of those items for 1 day, shopify is allowing another person to order 10 of the same items on that same day if they choose 3 or 5 day option which would make it seem like I have more than 10 of that item, technically it's saying I have 30. I have them all with the same sku, quantity tracking turned on. Any help on this would be appreciated!
Hey!
Question - how are your Product and Variants set up? Is each product a property and the 1st variant choice is 1/3/5 and then date? or date then 1/3/5? Do you have a SKU for each day? Just trying to visualize before suggesting something that wouldn't work for the base set up.
Hey Jennifer thanks for the reply! Bare with me I am very new to this.
I have my variants set up as rental lengths. So each product has 3 variants. The variants are 1 night, 3 nights, and 5 nights.
Hey! How do you account for the property and the dates in and your variants? So if I’m understanding, the property is the Product and variant option one is 1/3/5 and then variant option 2 are the dates they are choosing?
Would just help to understand how you’re set up so maybe I can help!
