Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hi,
I use POS at 50+ events throughout the year. Often, we'll have up to 4 events on the same day.
Instead of allocating stock to particular locations (this would be labour intensive as we often have events day after day) we create duplicates of SKU's with a new prefix, based on the location (eg. event 1 T-shirt, event 2 T-shirt etc) to see sales for each location - which is also not ideal.
Is there a way to use locations without transferring stock to each one?
Can I just make all SKU's available in all locations but not actually allocate stock to them?
(Our stock is counted back into stock at the end of each event anyway, so there isn't a need for tracking stock qtys at POS)
Thanks!
Yes, we have up to 4 events on the same day, which is what makes it hard to differentiate the sales by event
