How can I offer early product access to subscribers only?

Hello.

I am about to launch a new product and would like to give subscribers early access. The new product has been added to an existing 'collection'. Can anyone advise how I can give only my subscribers access?

Previously I have been able to send them a link, however that was when I set up a new 'collection' for a product whereas this time they are being added to an existing one.

Hello @Corinne33!

If you're looking to add those products to an existing collection which is visible to everyone, you won't be able to restrict those specific products to set customers with just our built in features.

For this, I recommend the Locksmith App. This app allows you to restrict content on your store based on conditions such as customer tags, their location and of course subscribed status. If you find that the existing conditions that come with the app are not sufficient, it is also possible to look into custom conditions. This is a highly trusted app within the Community and a personal favourite of mine for such tasks.

Tell me a bit more about your store and products, - why are you looking to restrict the new product at this time? It sounds like it would be a good incentive if you're looking gain more email subscribers since only they will be able to view it for now! Thank you for your reply, however I do not want to have to pay for an app for this, especially as I don't realise new products that often.
