Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Please force each action taken by a staff member in Stocky to automatically apply that user name to the action. This enables us to monitor what inventory changes are done and by whom.
Additionally, once an action is finalized, it should not be able to be altered unless done by an administrator (or give the option to set this for various staff roles). For example, they should not be able to add on to a completed PO after it has already been finalized or received, unless we explicitly set that as an option. This aids in greater inventory control, thanks.
@petgrocer if you're still facing trouble with Stocky you can try SKUSavvy which will keep a log of every movement in the warehouse with an attached employee action to view each employee's actions.
We do case breaks with units of measurement on a variant. We do not touch any of the storefront elements when offering case breaks with pricing, unfortunately.
@kingstore this might actually work, I'm trying not to get excited. We just want our inventory levels to be correct. In order for this to work, we need to match a case with the each and when an 'each' is sold into negative quantity, the system would automatically do an inventory adjustment to remove 1 case and increase the eaches by however many is in the case lot. I shouldn't have to pay an additional $132 USD a month for something that should be standard in a retail store point of sale system, but our pain point on this is high. If your system can do it, we want to examine this further. No one has ever said they could perform case breaks or rebuild cases if a client wants to buy a case and we have the appropriate number of eaches in stock. Looking forward to your confirmation that I'm understanding that your system can and will change the stock levels automatically? We don't care about price breaks - just correct inventory. The eaches sell for a different price than the case.
