How complex is transitioning to a Shopify omnichannel flow?

Hi there,

Our business currently operates our online commerce platform via Shopify. However, our physical store data, sales, reporting and stock is managed through another platform called TRIMS. My question is this, if we were to transition to Shopify for our imnichannel flow - how complex is this transition - is it something we could take on ourselves and if not - does Shopify provide support in doing so?
