For new Shopify Payments US users who signed up after February 15 2023, the default payout window is 5 business days. This payout window can be reduced to 2 business days, by setting up two-step authentication and connecting your bank account to Shopify via Plaid. My payouts are set to every business day so doesnt that mean every 24hours I will receive a payment

Hey there, @Pbabes. Thanks for follow up with us in this thread! I have the following information to share with you regarding your question:

Payouts every business day means "Shopify will send a payout of all available funds each business day". But, funds are only available after the payout delay, which is different in each region where SP is offered. For example in the US the delay is between 2 and 5 business days.

In other words, if you're in the U.S, money collected on from an order on Monday, that payout would be delivered to you the next available business day, which would be two days after the payment delay, so you'd receive the funds on Wednesday (if a 2 day delay) or Friday (5 day delay), for example.
