Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hello Community Members!!
Our online shop is integrated with a supplier who automatically uploads all their products to our store. They also update the quantities every 30 minutes, and this translates to a vast database of around 1 million products.
Yesterday, we embarked on setting up our Shopify POS (Point of Sale) system, which will be crucial for our in-store sales. We now face the challenge of identifying the specific products available in our physical store. This is essential for our sales team to effectively manage stock levels, reducing quantities when products are sold.
Our current inventory setup involves two locations. The "Whites" location represents the warehouse of our supplier, which they added during their integration. The other location corresponds to our physical store. Any
if I check any product that we will be seeling in our online store, I can notice that they are classify in the location of our physical store by default from the supplier
The issue at hand is the classification of products for our physical store. We want to ensure that these products are properly configured for management through the Store POS system. Additionally, we want to prevent our online customers from seeing the quantities available in the physical store. Please note that products in the physical store will only be sold in-store, without delivery.
Any guidance on how to set up these physical store products and manage them seamlessly through the Store POS system while keeping the in-store quantities hidden from online customers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Maria
